How to prepare for an online astrology consultation

A useful consultation starts with a clear question. A few minutes of preparation can help you explain your situation and understand what the expert is saying.

Write down what you want to discuss

Choose the topics that matter most to you and put the most important one first. Give enough context for the expert to understand the question without turning the session into a long list of unrelated concerns.

  • What decision or situation would you like to reflect on?
  • What background does the expert need to understand it?
  • What would make the conversation useful to you?

Have your birth details ready

Check your birth date, birth time and birthplace before the session. If the time is uncertain, say so. If you already have a Kundali, ensure it was made using the same details you intend to discuss.

Choose chat, audio or video

Chat lets you write at your own pace. Audio suits a spoken conversation. Video adds a face-to-face element. Choose the format you are comfortable with and check the expert’s available modes before starting.

For audio and video, test your microphone, connection and permissions. Find a quiet place and use headphones if you want more privacy.

Read the price and session terms first

Review the price displayed for the selected mode and any package terms before confirming. Rates and availability can differ between experts. If a billing or connection problem occurs, keep the session details and contact support.

Ask for explanations you can understand

If an unfamiliar term comes up, ask the expert to explain it. Separate interpretation from certainty, and give yourself time to reflect after the conversation.
